A Few of My Favorite Things...
Some people have specific oils or products they can’t live without. I am way more lazy when it comes to products. I like my oils incorporated into my everyday “must-dos” like showering, eating, drinking and make-up. So, I choose products that have oils already incorporated, however there are a few that we do NOT go without. They are in our house or in my purse at all times, because they literally are our family’s “First Aid” kit. Those include the ol’ faithful Lavender, Thieves, Helichrysum, Frankincense and Valor. Those have come in useful when someone gets hurt, is bleeding, or is having the occasional seizure… yes, we use them even in the scariest of emergencies.
NingXia Red (Wolfberries)! If you don’t understand antioxidants, I urge you to do a small research project and look up foods high in antioxidants and where they fall on the ORAC scale. Then, look at where Wolf berries sit. Yep, right at the top. I give this to my smallest who refuses to eat fruits and vegetables. I also added this in to Emmy’s diet to help her overcome the effects of chemotherapy.
This next mixture of oils is what I use regularly on Emmy. These plants are known to increase oxygen in the blood which in turn oxygenates the brain. Many of these oil also help with SSLLEEEEEEEEEPP!
I can’t say enough about Thieves. From the essential oil blend, to the cleaner, to the household items, my house is coated in this stuff! Look up the history of Clove and Cinnamon oil and the effects on virus and bacteria and you won’t want to ever use another cleaner again!
This is my new favorite product. Its a diffuser, night light and sound machine. We can’t say enough about how wonderful it is to have all 3 in 1! This owl is seriously the cutest!
Makeup. I stopped wearing makeup for years after understanding the absolute poison that the FDA allows in our products. I then tried companies like Arbonne and Bare Minerals and had breakouts and an explosion of rosacea. When I finally used these YL products I was hesitant… Until I didn’t need to be anymore. Young Living bans over 2,000 known toxins, while most companies only ban 20! Yes, you NEED to read labels and figure out why you feel horrible all the time. It is probably from junk you put on your skin.
The only cleanser and moisturizer to not cause rosacea and redness in my skin. And it controls my adult acne, as well!
